Job Description:Responsible for identifying, researching, and securing grant opportunities that align with our clients’ missions and funding priorities. This role combines strategic research, persuasive writing, and data-driven storytelling to help nonprofit partners increase their impact.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for social good, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex programs into compelling, fundable proposals.
Key Responsibilities:Grant Research & Prospecting- Identify prospective foundations, corporations, and government funding sources using grant databases and research tools.
- Analyze grant eligibility, alignment, and fit to ensure efficient pursuit of high-probability opportunities.
- Maintain and update research logs and client-specific grant pipelines.
Grant Writing & Strategy
- Write, edit, and submit persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and reports tailored to each funder’s requirements.
- Develop compelling case statements and impact narratives supported by data and storytelling.
- Collaborate with program and finance teams to collect necessary information for budgets, outcomes, and deliverables.
- Ensure all submissions are accurate, timely, and aligned with client voice, brand, and strategy.
Project Management & Reporting
- Manage multiple deadlines and track progress through internal project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
- Maintain calendars of submission and reporting deadlines.
- Support the preparation of interim and final grant reports for funders.
- Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen client grant strategies based on trends and data analysis.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, English, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
- Proven success securing foundation or corporate grants.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and grant databases (e.g., Instrumentl, GrantStation, Candid).
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Bloomerang, Salesforce, or similar.
